Aertex
Aertex Clothing was first produced in Manchester in 1884 by a local Lancastrian who at the time was experimenting with various materials and designs in an attempt to create a garment that keeps you cool in hot weather and hot in cold weather. This technology really caused waves in clothing in the late 1800s and was soon adopted by the English middle class and the British Land Army in World War 2. Jumping forward towards the 1960s Aertex began creating sports and schoolwear, using their innovative designs and technology to create the perfect sporting piece of clothing. This was soon adapted by Umbro for the England team at the Football World Cup in 1970 in Mexico. The football links continued, with many North American soccer teams using the Aertex material for their teams shirts. Into the 80s Adidas began using the Aertex fabrics across their sporing range, and still to this day Aertex is used on sportswear across the world.
Moving into the 2000s Aertex began an attempt to conquer a new market, the Fashion Market. Aertex have developed an amazing range of clothing, that using Aertex technology will prove popular in todays clothing market. With a signature logo now onboard, and a huge design plan Aertex have created some fantastic t shirts and shirts that will add a huge point of difference to the fashion market, and offers another top designer British brand on Mainline Menswear.
