Visit Mainline Menswear’s Shop in Scarborough

Written by: Andy Hoyle | November 16, 2012.

Ever been on the Mainline Menswear website and wondered where all of this started? Well great oak trees come from tiny acorns, and we have two excellent stores in Scarborough that stock all of the famous names on display on the popular Mainline Menswear website. Mainline Menswear and Dapper Men sit either side of Salisbury Arcade on Huntriss Row, Scarborough. Both stores offer most brands shown online and split the fashion evenly with Mainline Menswear carrying G Star, Lacoste, Diesel, Fred Perry, Stone Island, Original Penguin, Cruyff Classics, Adidas Originals, Nike and more while Dapper Men stocks the slightly more refined or classic brands such as Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood, Lyle and Scott, Paul Smith Jeans, Ted Baker, Henri Lloyd and more.

Open seven days a week during the summer and Christmas Mainline Menswear and Dapper Men see hundreds of people through the doors on a daily basis. If you’re in the Scarborough area and fancy trying on some of the best designer clothing before purchasing then the shops are a great place to go, especially if you’re spending a considerable amount on clothing, jeans, footwear or accessories. If you are making a special trip to the stores to purchase something specific it’s always advisable to call ahead to either shop (see the details in the tabs below) or the website’s customer service team (01723 624264) to ensure that the item or items that you’re looking for are available in the sizes you need. We do offer a wide range in the stores, however with over 8,000 products online you’d need a very good sized store to make sure that everything is on-show! Not in the Scarborough area? We’re at the seaside and are literally a 5 minute walk from the South Bay. Why not make a long weekend of it, or take a holiday on the east coast of North Yorkshire in sunny Scarborough.

Scarborough town centre also has a series of ‘late night shopping’ events every Christmas. These usually start on the last Thursday in November, or the first Thursday in December and run right up until Christmas. Although 2012 hasn’t been confirmed yet the local council usually relax parking charges in council owned car parks and the town is a bustle of activity and after work shoppers underneath the Christmas lights. We’ll update as and when we know the additional opening hours for the stores over the festive period.

So why not visit the Mainline Menswear and Dapper Men stores in Scarborough?  Our expert staff are on hand to help you with fashion tips and ideas, as well as advising you on the best sellers, sizes, latest trends or most other fashion related queries that you may have. To find us we’ve even added a trusty map below for those of you who need directions. For those that use maps on your smartphone or tablet simply head for YO11 2EF and you’ll see the stores sitting side by side… for now!

Live too far away from Scarborough to make a journey to the East Coast? Then we’ll even give you a sneak peak of the inside of the stores as they stood in October 2012. The brands, colours, displays and windows are constantly changing, so while they won’t look like they appear next year, you get the general idea!
