2015 Watch Trends

Written by Kimberley | 04/12/2015

A watch to most people is a staple part of their attire. This means there are more brands than ever designing their own style of watch. For this reason we have put together a post with the best range of watches from 2015.

The watch evolved from portable spring driven clocks, which first appeared in the 15th century. Portable time pieces were made possible by the invention of the mainspring in the early 15th century. Clockmaker Peter Henlein is often credited as the inventor of the watch. He was one of the first German craftsman who made the “clock watches”. This first time piece to be worn on the body was worn as a pendant around the neck.

First we chose Casio for its diverse range that simply has something to suit anyone. This famous brand was established in April 1946 by Tadao Kashio an engineering specializing in fabrication technology. Casio is by far the most diverse creator of watches. Ranging from Pro Trek watches that feature stop watches, digital compasses and a thermometer, to a piece that would sit perfectly on the wrist of a character like Bond the Edifice Infiniti is made from scratch resistant stainless steel this sleek watch has a sub dial showing the current time from a choice of twenty-nine cities around the globe.

Hugo Boss
Hugo Boss watches are created around elegance and to catch the eye of any passer-by. From the range the Deep Ocean watch has the most features, its stainless steel case has a striking blue face features embossed white dials. This watch is water resistant up to 100 meters so it really is designed to perfection. Something a little different from the typical stainless steel watch is the Jet Chronograph watch featuring a stainless steel case with chronograph function and a dark brown leather crocodile embossed strap.

A step away from your typical brand is this Diesel Baby Daddy, a Japanese Quartz watch features a stainless steel case and white leather strap. Also features a white and grey chrono analogue display with a three hand movement and a sub chronograph and date window dial. In contrast to the previous one is the Diesel Chronograph  in black. This features a large circular face with black colored dial and three hand movement with a date window. Both these watches are unique in their design and certainly catch your eye for all the right reasons.
