Men’s AW17 Trends

Back in January, designers debuted their AW17 collections down the runways of every major fashion week. Now Autumn is quickly approaching, it’s time to show you some of our favourite trends for the upcoming months…

90’s Sportswear

Everybody knows about the ‘sports luxe’ trend by now, we know that. But this AW, designers are taking this trend one step further… Forget mixing sportwear and tailoring and opt for a full-on tracksuit this season (kind of like the one you would wear for sports at school when you were 10).

Camel

We have definitely seen this trend before – but restricted to outerwear. This AW camel will be EVERYWHERE. This season the way to wear it is from head to toe – mixing shades and patterns for maximum impact. If that is a little too bold for you, it can be broken up with a pop of navy or cream.

Roll Neck Jumpers

Another piece with a huge presence on the AW17 catwalks – the roll neck. All colours, patterns, thicknesses and styles are a big win this season, so what are you waiting for? Get yours and give your neck the best winter ever.

Moss Green

Although the greenery on the trees starts thinning in the colder seasons, the colour green is not lacking in your go to outfit this AW. Deep, mossy green shades were the most popular on the catwalks this season, from tailoring to streetwear.  This colour is one that works with every skin tone – so what’s not to love?

Denim Jacket Layering

The denim jacket – not only an essential for SS. It can also work as the ultimate layering piece. Add a casual vibe to any outfit and also another layer of warmth by throwing on a classic blue denim jacket between your jumper and coat.

Puffer Jackets

It looks like puffer jackets are here to stay another season. This style has been hugely popular for months on end as designers are getting to grips with our need of fashion and functionality.

AW17 is set to be a huge season for menswear. Keep your wardrobe up to date with Mainline Menswear’s huge range of brands.
