Military Green – Style Guide
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past month, you’ll have seen military greens everywhere for this season.
Military greens are the perfect way to add a splash of colour to a monochrome outfit, without the contrast being too much of a statement.
One of the easiest ways to incorporate army green into your outfit is to throw on a khaki coloured jacket over a pretty simple outfit. Try black slim fit jeans, a plain white or grey tee, a pair of Timberlands and then a green bomber to keep it casual.

A smarter way to incorporate green into your outfit is choosing a khaki green pair of chinos and wearing them with a plain white oxford shirt and a pair of loafers. You can also alternate the colours and have a khaki shirt with beige/cream chinos if you prefer that combination.
Make the outfit more suitable for summer by swapping the chinos for shorts and putting a plain t shirt underneath your shirt and keeping it open.

Here at Mainline Menswear, we have a huge range of khaki coloured shoes available. Colourful shoes are probably the easiest thing to work into an outfit to give it a little something extra.
You could have an entirely black outfit and wear with a different colour shoe to make the entire outfit a little more interesting.

In other words, military green is extremely simple to style. Just ensure you keep the bulk of the outfit simple with grey, white and black and you can’t go wrong adding a hint of green.
