City break outfit

Planning to travel to the city for a weekend?

Depending in where you’re going, watch out for the weather in your destination. If you’re escaping to Europe, expect to pack lighter and brighter clothing due to the humidity there.

For a great casual outfit, Hugo Boss Orange’s grey slim fit chino trousers are a perfect statement piece. They can be cuffed to show your ankles and worn with white canvas shoes.

If you have thicker calves, get Paul and Shark’s regular fit chino trousers for a more fitted look. Its versatile, light material makes it comfortable to wear in any weather condition. Beige compliments tops in any colour; especially white or navy blue.

Pair the chinos with Ralph Lauren’s white short sleeved shirt which has a tartan checked design collar for an added splash of colour.

Wear a matching Franklin Marshall navy baseball cap with an adjustable strap and carry your items in this classic black holdall bag from Hugo Boss. Check out for other overnight bags for your weekend trips.

Exploring outfit

If you’re travelling in an unfamiliar area, make sure you have comfortable trainers or these Timberland hiker boots as you trek, and be sure to know whether to dress conservatively or not.

That’s why we suggest you wear chinos, not only due to their versatile material fit for any weather condition but also as they’re lightweight and comfortable to move and climb in. They can be cuffed in warmer conditions or rolled down when you travel to modest areas.

Wear a white 100% cotton top like this Religion Arizona plain crew neck t-shirt. It has a four-branded black button fasting set on the placket with stitch cuffs on the short sleeves.

Match the outfit with Superdry’s Congo green Army Corps shirt as an open jacket and roll up the sleeves for a relaxed style. It can be tied around the waist for a street style look.

Or if you’re looking for a trendy style, tie Michael Kors Nantucket red checked shirt around your waist. The Italian fabric has a tailored classic fit to flatter your body shape.

Beach outfit

It’s time to soak in the sun!

Strut in style with these Tommy Hilfiger midnight navy cargo shorts and a three-coloured belt. They feature two slanted pockets on the hips and cargo-style button entry flap pockets on the thighs to carry your essential items.

With this, wear matching storm blue and cream Lyle and Scott crew neck Breton striped t-shirt for a classic look.

Or for a vibrant, tropical look, wear this Pretty Green paisley blue t-shirt with a slim ribbed crew neck. Check out Pretty Green’s whole line of paisley designs.

Floral patterns are on trend right now. Antony Morato’s red and Persian blue polo t-shirt plays with a printed flower and leaf pattern. Find out other ways to wear floral.

Slip into these slip-on design Lacoste white plimsoll trainers, which has ortholite insoles for added comfort. Find out other suitable summer shoes available on Mainline Menswear.

After a swim, step into these fancy Adidas Originals navy slides with their signature three striped design on the strap, and a contoured footbed for added comfort. Slides are the current trend this summer!

Finally, accessorise with a pair of Tom Ford’s rose gold sunglasses for a classy finish. The green lenses compliment the navy and white outfit well, giving another splash of colour.

These three outfits all share a similarity – it’s about the details.

Whether it’s a Breton themed outfit, tying a shirt around the waist, tartan design collars, or a floral pattern; make sure that they are all fitted to your size.
