If your wardrobe wouldn’t look out of place owned by a goth, or if you find yourself levitating towards the same white t-shirt and jeans, wearing colour can be overwhelming. It’s easy to get stuck in a rut of wearing the same colours over and over again.
However, it’s really easy to incorporate colour into your wardrobe by following these easy tips without going too far outside your comfort zone.
Pick one statement colour piece at a time, and pair it with more neutral toned clothing. For instance, a blue denim shirt with your usual black jeans and white t-shirt would look great. As would an orange jumper layered under a leather jacket, or green trousers and a polo shirt.
Choose on trend colours- millennial pink is a huge trend that shows no sign of stopping, and pink isn’t just for the ladies anymore!
Men’s clothing in all styles are sporting this on trend hue, so it’s easy to pick up a versatile shirt, jumper or polo that can easily go with colours such as brown, beige, white and navy. Go for a pink jacket if you’re feeling extra daring.
And last but not least, accessorise with colour! Adding coloured accessories can brighten up dull winter outfits and takes very little effort or coordination on your part.
If all else fails, a bright coloured sock is still a pop of colour in your outfit.
