Another season means a new campaign, so, for our SS20 shoot we decided to pick a luxurious location to make a big impact: a car park roof in the centre of a Manchester. With a 360° view of the full city this was the perfect location to capture all the versatile looks from the campaign.
The day started out with a quick trip to Starbucks just below the car park to judge the director’s (James Clancy) and photographer’s (Graeme Hill) coffee choices. We then headed up to the car park.
The idea for SS20: ‘What will it be today’ encapsulates Mainline’s diverse range of brands and styles – to tie all the looks together we had Chris perform an impressive dance routine relevant to each outfit. I myself did not dance, which was probably for the best, instead I absolutely demolished the snack table, and ate enough sweets and Bakewell slices for the entire team.
I would like to also thank the numerous cups of tea that were made for me, as it was tiring work watching all that dancing. We picked our favourite outfits for the day, including Armani Exchange, Fred Perry, Barbour International, G.H. Bass, Levis, Adidas and Vivienne Westwood.
