Mainline Menswear Staff Picks – Terri Hinchliffe
Today’s staff pick was over to Terri Hinchliffe, Mainline Menswear’s Creative Catalogue Coordinator.
When did you join Mainline Menswear? What is your role here?
I joined Mainline Menswear earlier this year towards the end of May. My job is to create the catalogues for the business, in which we create six a year. Two of them are what we call the ‘Main Catalogue’ and 4 others assist throughout the year.
Where does your interest in fashion come from?
I have always had an interest in fashion, from looking through magazines as a child. I then progressed on to study in the subject throughout College and University as a Fashion Communication student; which is where I developed a true passion.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time (the weekend) my favourite hobby would definitely be shopping! However, I do like to run, especially in the summer time along the beach on an evening.
What are your favourite brands?
I’d say my favourite brand at Mainline Menswear would have to be Levi’s, the collection on a whole is contemporary and not only do they specialise in denim, they design jackets and t-shirts etc. that are of the same quality.
Why did you choose this outfit?
I chose this outfit due to my own personal preferences, I don’t think you can go wrong with a bomber jacket and the Alpha Industry coats are my favourite at the minute. Wearing a simple black Calvin Klein logo t-shirt underneath; Calvin Klein seems to be appearing here there and everywhere at the minute and I think it will be big again. Everybody should own a pair of black slim fitted jeans; they go with anything! Dress them up with a shirt for a few beers or wear them on a daily basis, they are the answer to most outfit decisions. A pair of trainers are comfortable and can look smart, I think the Adidas Gazelle’s do just that and to complete the outfit a nice leather watch. I chose this watch due to the roman numerals which added a vintage look to the face of the watch.
