In line with continual company growth, we are looking to recruit a talented Android App Developer to join us. Working within the existing web development team and reporting to the Head of Development the successful applicant will be working day to day with the Senior App Developer to design, deliver and maintain the companies’ customer facing Android App.

 

Located on the outskirts of Scarborough, close to the A64, Seamer train station and public transport with free parking.

 

Job Overview:


Key responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively agree on the look and feel of the app, keeping the existing website and brand guidelines in mind.
  • Continue to evolve the existing iOS ecommerce app, helping to maintain growth and in keeping with both app and ecommerce best practice.
  • Enable the company’s key 3rd party partners to be leveraged via the app, adding new functionality when available and accommodating new partners where necessary.
  • Keep on top of core Android updates, ensuring the usability and functionality remain with future updates

Skills required to be successful in this role:


  • Experience in developing dynamic content eCommerce apps, particularly for the retail vertical using Kotlin.
  • A keen eye for design and an ability to positively impact customer experience through design is essential.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Implement a unit testing process
  • Experience in Android SDK and Android Studio.
  • Familiar with RESTful APIs and XML data connections

  • Passionate and proactive about app design, consistency and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility – ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing dynamic business environment which will require the job holder to manage a large volume of high priority tasks.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will find a team of passionate experts who, through a mix of best practice and data aim to provide everything the customer needs to shop with us. In line with continual company growth, we are looking to recruit a talented First Line Support Analyst to join us. Working within the existing IT team and reporting to the Head of Development, the successful applicant will be working day to day with the System Administrator to provide initial technical support to systems users across the Mainline Menswear business.

Located on the outskirts of Scarborough, close to the A64, Seamer train station and public transport with free parking.

The role is full time, office based, and the working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Competitive Salary, Dependent on Experience & Skillset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • End User IT Support and recording of work via JIRA service desk.
  • Diagnosing hardware, software and network issues.
  • Manage internal storage access as well as Active Directory and account creation.
  • Ongoing cyclical maintenance of hardware and secure IT areas.
  • Creation of technical documentation for fixes and processes.
  • Performing account setups and device configurations.

SKILLS REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
  • Familiarity with a variety of hardware usually found within a typical business setup.
  • Experience of how Windows and Mac operating systems work; Linux, Proxmox and mobile OS would be advantageous.
  • Basic experience in networking concepts and a positive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Microsoft Server Administration, Active Directory, Group Policy and other Microsoft online services.
  • Security minded, with awareness of modern secure practices.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred but not essential.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We believe a key contributor to our success is keeping as much control in-house as possible. You’ll be joining a team of passionate experts who combine best practice with marketing data to deliver the best possible customer experience. This is supported by a small selection of market-leading partners who provide specialist expertise where required.

In line with continued company growth, we are looking to recruit a talented CRM Executive to join our team. Working within the existing CRM team, you will support the CRM Lead and report into the Head of Marketing. You’ll be responsible for managing targeted campaigns and optimising the performance of our rapidly growing customer database.

Working closely with the CRM Lead, you’ll help maximise sales, conversions and customer engagement across multiple channels, including Email, SMS and app push notifications. You’ll be a bright, driven and energetic individual, able to create relevant, engaging campaigns while keeping key audience trends and user behaviour front of mind.

The role is based on the outskirts of Scarborough, close to the A64, Seamer train station and public transport, with free on-site parking.

This is a full-time office-based role. Working hours are 9:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Competitive salary, dependent on experience & skill set

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare email campaigns for distribution and actively manage the customer database.
  • Create engaging, accurate content that aligns with campaign objectives.
  • Plan relevant exposure for brands, promotions, offers and events.
  • Develop and optimise app campaigns, monitoring performance and ROI.
  • Analyse previous campaigns to identify trends in processes, messaging and user behaviour.
  • Monitor performance across customer journeys and database segmentation.
  • Set up and maintain dashboards to track key KPIs and metrics.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Ideally, you will have:
  • A good level of design ability and creativity.
  • Strong copywriting skills for engaging campaign content.
  • A positive attitude and energetic approach to tasks.
  • An understanding of HTML and CSS (preferred but not essential).
  • The confidence to contribute ideas and opinions within marketing discussions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
  • Previous experience with Google Analytics and/or email marketing (beneficial but not essential - training provided).
  • A marketing-related degree or similar qualification (preferred but not essential).

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Previous experience in marketing or eCommerce would be advantageous but not essential.
