Brand Focus: Money
Despite arriving at Mainline Menswear a few months ago the top collection of Money clothing that we’re showing on the site is indeed for the coming autumn winter season – and early signs from visitors and fans suggest that Money clothing and jeans are definitely a wanted range. With a debut 35 piece collection that will only grow in size in the next few months you’ll find a wide range of jumpers and sweatshirts, polo shirts, crew neck t shirts, zip tops, jogging bottoms and jeans that all prominently feature the ‘M’ (that is also an ape) logo on the check, arm or pockets.
With prices varying between £30 and £95 at the moment depending on whether you want a basic tee or a pair of jeans Money doesn’t break the bank but will give you a quality British streetwear brand that can boast 10 years of growth and product development. The guys at Money are definitely free thinkers and are really pushing to match classic tailoring with a distinct British swagger. Add to that an ethos of ‘Continue to Create’ and you can tell that this brand will be here for another 10 years at least, creating some amazing clothing collections that will inspire trends and attempt to remain completely unique.
I’ve had a little look at the current range and chosen my favourite piece – I personally really like the really basic but understated design of the Money Sig Ape Binding crew neck jumper in the eclipse blue. Perfect to match up with a good pair of casual jeans from G Star, Diesel or Edwin and maybe add a pair of colourful Nike or Adidas trainers to break up the fairly ‘blue’ outlook to the outfit. This very casual fairly street kind of look will look perfect this autumn – while it’ll also add that extra layer for the autumn weather.
