STYLE GUIDE: 40s and 50s

Today it’s time to move on to the next generation and explore the style of the 40 and 50 year olds. You will recognise many male celebrities in this age group with absolutely impeccable style, a couple of examples of these are Robert Downey Jnr and Brad Pitt, and their styles have most definitely blossomed and evolved over the years.

By no means is your 40’s a time to give up on style, in fact again it’s an age which opens new doors, and seems to be the age where your style is mostly refined. When you hit you’re 40s career position is important, you’re most definitely mature and your style can reflect this. You are much more aware of yourself in your 40s. As you will have seen plenty of fashions come and go it doesn’t mean you’re style has too.

And there’s the 50s, the age where that level of refinement goes up to the next level, you either get it so right or so, so wrong! Don’t let yourself go and most certainly don’t think for a second that you are exempt from any sort of fashion. See your 50s as a fresh start again instead of seeing it as ‘I’m getting old and past it’, because you most certainly are not. Celebrity style icons that are in their 50s and still ahead of their game when it comes to fashion include George Clooney, Kevin Bacon and Antonio Banderas to name but a few.

At the age of 50 Johnny seems to have really found himself in his sense of style.
