Introducing Armani Exchange

July always marks the start of the influx of new brands at Mainline Menswear, and this July we have a huge introduction to make – Armani Exchange has arrived! Adding to the existing Armani collections on the site, we expect Armani Exchange to beautifully complement Armani Jeans, Emporio Armani and EA7. The History

In 1991, Giorgio Armani introduced a new brand to the Armani family: Armani Exchange. Inspired by the modern fashion trends he witnessed in his favourite cities (New York, Milan, and Tokyo to name but a few), Armani launched a brand which captured the essence of the new generation of fashion.
Armani Exchange was unexpected yet refreshing, capturing and embodying the energy and effortlessness of young people. Armani explicitly challenged the fashion norms by using a new, light hearted approach to style which actively encouraged the unselfconsciousness which defines youth.

The brand was born with a small collection of unbasic ‘basics’ that captured the sophistication of the new generation. However, as is expected, the collection has grown and evolved from a small collection of basics to an entire modern lifestyle wardrobe. In 2017, the brand continues to defines youthful spirit, encouraging clashing colours and materials for an effortless blend of street and polished styles.
