Adidas Spezial trainers like many Adidas shoes were first released in the 1970s as a sports trainer the Spezials were designed specifically for indoor handball. Perfectly designed for on the court, they feature a gum rubber outsole, a plush suede upper and the famous contrast three stripes. Like all Adidas shoes, the Spezial trainer swiftly made its way from the sports community to the streets.
The trainers are available with the standard laces, or with full lace fastening, meaning you never have to go through the hassle of tying your laces. Sub-brands have emerged from Spezial Adidas, including the Very Spezial PK range an example of the popular trainers with full lace fastening.
