Versus Versace

Home to some of the world’s finest designers and top fabric manufacturers, Italy has earned itself a strong reputation in men’s fashion.

Versace, Moschino, Cavalli and Armani are just a few designers that have become legends in their own right. No matter how much interest a man has in fashion, these labels are instantly recognisable and highly desirable.

Moschino

untitled-1-16

A brand initially created in 1983 by the late Franco Moschino, this fashion label became famous for its innovative, colourful, sometimes eccentric designs, for Moschino’s love of fairies, for his criticisms of the fashion industry and for his criticisms of the fashion industry and for his social awareness campaigns in the early 1990s.

The brand consists of several labels: Moschino (women’s and men’s main line), Moschino Cheap and Chic (women’s secondary line, created in 1988), Love Moschino (women’s and men’s diffusion line, known as Moschino Jeans from 1986 to 2008). In addition, accessories, jewellery, watches, perfume and cosmetics and even jet helmets are sold under the Moschino brand.

Versace

Versace is an Italian luxury fashion company and trade name founded by Gianni Versace in 1978. The main collection of the brand is Versace, which produces upmarket Italian-made, ready-to-wear and leather accessories and is known for having flashy prints and bright colours. Other diffusion lines are Versace Collection, Versus Versace and Versace Jeans

Just Cavalli

untitled-1-19

The youth-oriented offshoot of Roberto Cavalli was launched in 1988. Like the original, Just Cavalli encompasses menswear, accessories and fragrances with a bold aesthetic – think colour, animal prints and most famously, denim.

Roberto is a designer of both substance and style, as he has made cutting-edge developments in textile technology throughout his career. Since launching his first collection of printed leather gowns in 1970, Cavalli has built a desirable lifestyle empire. Exotic elegance, wild prints and bohemian glamour are inherent in every collection.

Armani

untitled-1-24

Giorgio Armani is an Italian fashion house founded by Giorgio Armani which designs, manufactures and distributes haute couture, ready-to-wear leather goods, shoes, watches, jewellery, accessories, eyewear, cosmetics and home interiors.

We have several Armani labels available at Mainline Menswear now – including EA7, Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans and Armani Collezioni. The brand utilises the association of the Armani name with high fashion, benefiting from its prestige in the fashion industry.
