Travis Scott – Style Icon

Written by: Rebecca Shires | October 9, 2017.

Days before Birds singer, is notorious for being able to bring together hip-hop style and high end brands like Saint Laurent, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, earning himself the title ‘Style Icon’.

Rapper and style icon Travis Scott is blowing up the fashion and music scene. Amongst others, Scott has been pivotal in bringing street fashion to the high fashion world, so much so that the lines between them are more blurred then ever before.

Camo is a big trend this year, and certainly one Scott has been rocking. Whether it be a jacket, trousers, or both Travis is able to look relaxed but put together. Pairing with a block coloured t-shirt or jumper makes the outfit look sleek and stylish. You can browse our collection of camo items here to create your perfect Travis Scott inspired look.

As mentioned above, Travis is the king of matching top and bottoms. Whilst it may have been uncool for a long time after the 90s, Scott is bringing back the double denim and making it fashionable again. He looked laid back and relaxed with the matching wash of denim and a standard t-shirt and trainers.

Scott, as a true style icon would, pushes the boat out and matched both camo and a shiny tracksuit. If shiny is not your style, we offer a similar grey tracksuit that would be perfect for recreating this look here.

The over sized jacket is a must have for Scott’s wardrobe. Whether light or a heavy weight jacket, Scott can often be seen with either a baggy coat or jumper. This is a huge trend in fashion for both men and women at the moment so is definitely an easy to look to recreate to get Scott’s style.

It is important, when rocking the over sized jacket, to keep everything simple. Travis Scott mostly uses block coloured, tighter fit bottoms to keep all the emphasis on the top and not looking drowned in clothing.

Finally, Travis Scott’s signature look has to be the bling. Very rarely is Scott seen without an abundance of heavy gold chains and pendants round his neck, bracelets and rings. (Of course, you may not want to go as heavy as Scott in everyday life).
