Best Dressed Men of 2017

Written by: Rebecca Shires | January 2, 2018.

2017 was a huge year for fashion, specifically menswear. Here are the 10 men who have stolen the style spotlight last year…

Some are more obvious than others, but a few have surprised us this year. From masters of modern tailoring to streetwear kings, these men have earned a place in our best dressed men of 2017.

Kit Harington

Some people, including Kit himself probably won’t see the man as a style icon, although his fashion sense stands out with a relaxed vibe.

Whether he’s on the red carpet or just living his day-to-day life, he always finds a way to look good.

Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson always knows how to make an outfit look dishevelled. Whether he wears a tailored suit or jogging bottoms, he looks like he was born to wear them.

Something every man wishes he could do.

Tom Hiddleston

Truth be told, we all got a little worried when Tom Hiddleston stepped out in an ‘I <3 T.S.’ vest. But it looks like he has tried hard to regain his usual classic, gentlemanly look and get his street cred back to normal.

Zayn Malik

The Ex-1D lad has made quite a name for himself as a solo artist with star studded collaborations. However, it is not just his music that’s making the headlines, alongside his love life, fashion makes just as much of a strike out.

As the king of grunge and dark colours, Zayn Malik has all you need for the typical ‘bad boy’ look and autumnal style as Autumn/Winter approaches.

Harry Styles

For a man who has the word Style in his name, it’ll come as no surprise that Harry Styles has turned out to be one of the biggest fashion icons in the music industry today.

His trends have left fan girls drooling with women wanting him and men wanting to be him given that he’s the lady-killer rockstar in one of the biggest bands in the world.

Travis Scott

Rapper and style icon Travis Scott is blowing up the fashion and music scene. Amongst others, Scott has been pivotal in bringing street fashion to the high fashion world, so much so that the lines between them are more blurred than ever before.

Conor McGregor

It is absolutely a given then, that McGregor is a style icon. His preference to the finer things in life is clearly reflected in his approach to fashion, with his style showing he has a keen eye for current trends.

Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds is an undeniably cool guy, and his taste in fashion definitely shows it. His sense of style might be described as ‘casual’, but that isn’t to say it’s lazy – rather, Reynolds’ approach to building an outfit means making the most of pieces that should be in every man’s wardrobe whilst also being conscious of trends.

David Gandy

In an industry that was dominated by male models with skinny builds, Gandy came as a stark contrast with his tall, muscular build, which would have a lasting influence on the industry.

It’s not hard to see why Gandy might be considered a style icon. His fashion sense oozes sophistication, but in a way that makes it seem effortless.

Drake

Just like his career and dating record, Drake’s style is rapidly evolving and is only getting better.

With his recently found love for London and the grime scene, his style has taken to a whole new level and has not only globalised this already massive British trend, but truly defined Drake as a fashion force to be reckoned with.
